Even If the Healing Doesn't Come
21When Jesus had crossed again in the boat to the other side, a great crowd gathered round him; and he was by the lake. 22Then one of the leaders of the synagogue named Jairus came and, when he saw him, fell at his feet 23and begged him repeatedly, ‘My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well, and live.’ 24So he went with him.

you don't know what to do
why won't she get better
where is the cure they promised
treatment after treatment
blood transfusions
stem cells
anitbiotics
medicine - with so many side effects
surgery
radiation
chemo
she is near death
they tried everything
her body is so tired
she can't take any more
no more pills
no more surgery
no more hospitals
she said no more
she is near death
you can't let go
you cna't stop hoping for a miracle
you cant stop researching the latest scientific break through
you can't stop crying for her
you have to be strong
you have to be tough
you have to do what is right - what is best
she is near death
you want hope to come so badly
you run outside to meet hope
you see Jesus
you fall down
kneeling on the ground you beg
my daughter...
my daughter...
my daughter is at the point of death
you choke back the deep wailing inside that wants to break out
come and lay your hands on her
come and touch her
make her well
make her whole
bring her back to me
